FBC Pontiac

At FBC Pontiac, learning and growing in Christ happens together. We believe faith is strengthened when people of all ages gather in community—whether in a Bible study, a women’s circle, a fellowship group, or a children’s class. From nursery care to in-depth studies for adults, there’s a place for you and your family to belong, connect, and thrive.

Overview

 About Our Classes

Classes and groups at FBC Pontiac are designed to help you deepen your walk with Christ while building lasting friendships. These gatherings are more than scheduled meetings—they are opportunities to study God’s Word, share life with others, and live out our calling as disciples.

Our classes reflect the diversity of our church family. Children learn about Jesus in age-appropriate, fun, and engaging ways. Youth discover how to live out their faith in school and everyday life. Adults come together in small groups for Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. Women find support and strength in dedicated circles. Parents have a place to find community and childcare so they can grow, too.

We believe the church is multi-generational by design, and our classes honor that. There is something for everyone—because everyone has a place in God’s family.

STUDY GROUPS

Study Groups

Study groups are the heartbeat of discipleship at FBC Pontiac. These small gatherings create space for open conversation, Scripture study, and encouragement that connects faith to real life.

Topics range from book-by-book Bible studies, to practical themes like prayer, service, and living as Christ’s hands and feet in today’s world. Each group is designed to meet you where you are, whether you are new to the Bible or looking for deeper study.

More than lessons, these groups provide accountability, friendship, and a reminder that no one has to walk their faith journey alone. By joining a study group, you’ll find encouragement for today and strength for tomorrow.

WOMEN

Women’s Groups

Women’s groups at FBC Pontiac create a supportive and welcoming space for prayer, fellowship, and growth. These gatherings offer time away from daily responsibilities to connect with other women, share stories, and build each other up in faith.

Through Bible study, service projects, and times of prayer, women encourage one another to follow Christ with courage and compassion. Whether you’re a young mom, single professional, or grandmother, you’ll find sisters in Christ who understand, listen, and walk alongside you.

FELLOWSHIP

Fellowship Groups

Fellowship groups give adults a chance to connect beyond Sunday mornings. These smaller settings are where strangers become friends and friends become family.

Whether you’re sharing a meal, discussing a Bible passage, or simply enjoying good conversation, fellowship groups help you build community while deepening your faith. Many lifelong friendships in our church have started in these small, welcoming circles.

CHILDREN

Children’s Classes and Kids Zone

At FBC Pontiac, we believe children are an essential part of the church. That’s why we offer safe, fun, and faith-filled programs designed just for them.

Our nursery provides loving care for infants and toddlers so parents can participate in worship and classes with peace of mind. Children’s classes teach biblical truths through interactive lessons, crafts, and activities that make learning about Jesus exciting.

The Kids Zone is a special place where kids gather for high-energy teaching, worship, and play—all rooted in Scripture. It’s a space where children build friendships while learning that they are loved by God.

PARENTS

Parents’ Corner and Childcare

Parents need encouragement and support too. At FBC Pontiac, we provide childcare during services and classes so parents can focus on worship and study.

Our Parent’s Corner is designed as a resource hub and gathering space for moms and dads. It’s a place to connect with others facing the same joys and challenges of raising children, and to find encouragement in Scripture and fellowship.

We believe strong families strengthen the church—and we’re here to support parents every step of the way.

ABK

All ’Bout Kids (ABK) Registration

Our All ’Bout Kids (ABK) program meets on Wednesday nights and offers a fun, faith-filled experience for children. Through games, music, teaching, and activities, kids learn about God’s love in ways that are engaging and memorable.

ABK is more than a program—it’s a community where children grow spiritually while making friends and having fun. Parents love it because their kids look forward to coming each week, and children love it because it feels like a place just for them.

Sign up your child today for a fun and faith-filled program.
