"Choices" Beginning on Tuesday, February 16th at 10:00 am, Karen Meister will begin leading a 5 week Bible Study by Joyce Meyer called "Choices - Having Peace and Joy in Your Everyday Life". Through this Bible study you will explore how your thoughts, words, emotions, prayer and love walk effect your daily life, your relationship with God and with others. This group will meet from Feb. 16 - March 16 at 10:00 am on Tuesday mornings. If you are interested in joining this group, there will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex. |
"Unbinding the Gospel" On the 24th of February, Pastor Wolfe will begin a small group training series in evangelism from a book titled, Unbinding the Gospel. This book was born from the Mainline Evangelism Project, a four year study of hundreds of mainline congregations. The authors interviewed over 1200 church members, new Christians and pastors. The authors not only studied effective evangelism, but more important, what motivated those congregations to reach out to people with no church background. One of the most important discoveries is that a vivid relationship with God lies at the heart of evangelism. This group will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 PM. |
WOMEN OF THE BIBLE The Monday evening Bible Study Group that meets in Virginia Asper's home will resume on Monday, September 14 at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
